About the Artist
Tim’s work stems from an abiding interest in the natural world. Undergraduate studies in ornamental horticulture were followed by graduate work and a master’s degree in landscape architecture from Harvard’s Graduate School of Design. He practiced landscape architecture for more than twenty years, the last half as the principal of his own consulting firm. Tim’s art is an outgrowth of this training and experience. Color and canvas, texture and composition are now the tools he uses to express his appreciation for and further his understanding of the beauty, subtlety and connectedness he finds in the world around him.
